The mandate of the ORPP is to register regulate, and oversee the operations of political parties in Malawi. Oversee party registration, amendments, and deregistration processes.
Ensure compliance with financial disclosure and funding provisions, including both state and private funding
Enforce adherence to the law, including matters such as prohibition of handouts.
We Receive and investigate complaints in relation to the Political Parties Act.
Educate the public and collaborate with other stakeholders to support the effective implementation of the Political Parties Act
